I work in series, composing forms that feel contemplative by playing with scale, a feeling of solidity and a sense of quiet. I try to balance volume, proportion and the outline of a piece; juxtaposing flat hard edges against rounder softer surfaces, thus creating tension between the clarity of the form and the finish of the piece.
