The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) supports excellence in British craftsmanship by funding the training and education of talented and aspiring makers. Since 1990, QEST has awarded £5.3 million to 700 makers working across the UK in 130 craft disciplines. In addition to financial support, the charity provides alumni with business masterclasses and opportunities for exhibitions, collaborations and commissions through QEST’s networks and partnerships.
Featuring makers who take inspiration from the natural world, QEST’s curated exhibition of elegant, striking and sometimes thought-provoking pieces celebrates the beauty, fragility and potential of natural materials and investigates the allure of natural phenomena.
