Craft School is a nationwide competition to get primary and secondary school students making. The programme is free and aimed at education providers and learners from KS1 to KS4. Participating in Craft School is a powerful support for the delivery of Art & Design and Design Technology curricula. It can be delivered as a cross-curricular project, as part of an after-school club or home-school programme; our priority is to help young people get making across all learning settings and stages, so the programme is designed to support educators in doing this.
Working individually or in groups, learners draw on our 'Make First' approach to education. Each year classrooms across the country use hand skills to explore materials, take risks and make three-dimensional forms in respond to one of three creative briefs.
Enrolment for Craft School: Material World 2024-2025 has now closed. We are now inviting all who have registered to submit their work.
