Founded in 2003, Gallery Sklo is Korea’s first gallery specialising in contemporary glass art, fostering new collectors by integrating glass into the contemporary art scene. The gallery’s vision is now expanding to include works by artists who focus on materials beyond glass. In 2025, Gallery Sklo will showcase works by five Korean glass artists alongside two metal artists and one textile artist. They include Lee Taehoon, Park Sunghoon and Lee Jaiik, whose works were collected by the V&A at the 2023 and 2024 Collect art fairs, as well as Choi Hyesook, Kim Kira, Chung Sukyung, and Kim Yongjoo, all of whom garnered significant attention. Newcomer Ko Hyejeong will also be part of the exhibition.
