Balanced Bowls About
Porcelain and stoneware sculptural vessels by Kate Windibank.
Creating these bowls is a therapeutic experience, there is a pleasing rhythm to the making:
I roll.
I tear.
I layer.
I blend.
The bowls are made using Stoneware and porcelain clays, oxide enriched slips and crystalline glaze. They are weighted at the bottom so they remain upright to protect the delicate porcelain rims.
