It includes Matisse: Drawing with Scissors, his late works 1950-1954, a Hayward Gallery Touring Exhibition, which features 35 lithographic prints of the famous cut-outs produced by Henri Matisse (1869-1954) in the last four years of his life. The wider Gallery features 200 artworks by 42 leading British Paper Artists including animation, origami, fashion, collage, 3-D sculpture and paper cuts, many of which are for sale.
The exhibition includes children’s activities and a 'make and create' area with a specially commissioned Lake District themed Paper installation by Amy Williams. There is also a programme of adult and family-friendly artist-led workshops (bookable in advance).
The exhibition is open every day from 9am till 5:30pm with last entry at 4:45pm.
