A Collect fair debut, Maud & Mabel brings together the works of Japanese ceramicists Kenta Anzai and Yoko Ozawa, Taiwanese artist Wu Wei Cheng, British woodworking duo Malcolm Martin and Gaynor Dowling and German/British ceramicist Annette Lindenberg in an inspiring display of contemporary craft. Combined, these artists respectfully honour the skills of the past with a new perspective, exhibiting an exciting range of techniques, materials and inspirations.
Located in Hampstead Village, Maud & Mabel is a curated space centring on the Japanese aesthetic of shibumi, the balance of simplicity, complexity, perfection and imperfection through a range of craft materials. Maud & Mabel proudly represents the works of over 60 artists, both established and emerging, from around the world.
