Design & Crafts Council Ireland is the national agency for design and craft in Ireland. It advocates for the societal benefits of craft and design, and promotes the commercial development of Irish designers and makers; stimulating innovation, championing design thinking and informing policy.
DCCI established the Portfolio programme in 2005, with many of the makers in the selection achieving critical and commercial success. The practitioners on show as part of Collect 2023 have been selected through the Portfolio programme.
DCCI is proud to be based in Kilkenny, South East Ireland, a World Crafts Council craft city and region.
