The Stratford Gallery specialises in the curation of contemporary Japanese ceramics showcasing both established artists and emerging, new wave practitioners. Established in 2016, the gallery has deep links with ceramic artists in Japan, staging major solo and mixed exhibitions several times a year in addition to a large, permanent showcase of imported works housed in its Cotswolds gallery.
The breadth, history, subtleties and cultural placement of Japanese ceramic art guides the curation and purpose of the gallery, which represents works by artists such as Kazu Yamada, Yoca Muta, Kodai Ujiie, Kei Tanimoto and Nami Takahashi.
