Membership revocation

We very much hope you’ll be a Crafts member for many years, enjoying and supporting us to produce high-quality, thought-provoking content and conversation across print, digital and live events.

If you do choose to revoke your Crafts membership on our partner platform Steady, please note the following terms and conditions.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to revoke your Crafts membership and Steady contract within fourteen days without giving reasons.

The revocation period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform Steady (Steady Media GmbH, Schönhauser Allee 36, Haus 1 - Aufg. D, 10435 Berlin; email: support@steadyhq.com) of your decision to withdraw from your contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You can use their sample revocation form, which is, however, not mandatory.

In order to comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of exercising the right of revocation before the expiry of the revocation period.

Consequences of the revocation

If you revoke this Agreement, Steady will refund to you all payments they have received from you, including delivery charges (other than additional charges resulting from your choosing a method of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), immediately and no later than fourteen days from the date they receive notice of your revocation of this Agreement. Steady will use the same means of payment for such refund as you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you and in no event will you be charged for such refund.

Premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

Your right of revocation expires prematurely in the case of a contract for the delivery of digital content not on a physical data carrier if you have expressly agreed that we begin with the execution of the contract before the expiry of the revocation period and you have confirmed your knowledge that you lose your right of revocation through your agreement with the beginning of the execution of the contract.
