Aural Textiles
This ongoing research project explores the use of the Scottish sound landscape to influence contemporary textile design through a collaborative design process. In the first phase, I was one of six textile designer/makers who worked collaboratively to understand and relate to our local soundscape as a source of inspiration. In phase two I am continuing the collaborative process, this time with jewellery designer Jen Stewart.
