'The Last Book' and 'The Book of All' (2022/23).
The Installation, originally part of Reflections of South Hill Park with Consuo group at South Hill Park Arts Centre, examines utopian and dystopian scenarios. Juxtaposed realities declare hope and forewarn, inviting to think globally, through ancient book form, cloth and alphabets of natural colour. Inherently concerned with humankind’s destructive tendencies alongside desire to create, I ask:
Are the children of tomorrow to bask in kaleidoscopic wonder? Or - to inherit The Last Book?
