'Deeper than Language' (2024), Two Textile Artist Books
Conceptually, both artworks herald global cultural connection through revival of heritage techniques. Reimagining historical structures, they poetically allude to language, proposing a new form of communication at the intersection of book and cloth drawing deeply on their histories. Transcending physical book form and placing language into cloth fresh cultural landscapes are formed. Reflective, mytho-poetical departure of these new commons awakens emotional tongues understood universally.
