Crafts CouncilDirectoryJason Lock WoodturningWood and exotic resin hollow formAboutThis hollow diameter is 9 inches and 6 inches high and Is made from a oak burl. The thing I love about working with resin and wood is this on it's own burl wasn’t big enough to make something so I have managed to save this beautiful highly figured oak burl mixing it with the resin. The difficult part is pouring large amounts of resin, avoiding bubbles and cracks. I have tried to pour the resin so it like earth and so after turning it I have sanded to a very high grit with different buffing wheels and it has given the hollow really soft almost like the feel of silk and the resin has come up as clear as glass.Jason Lock WoodturningColchester, EnglandWood and exotic resin hollow form, Jason lockWood and exotic resin hollow formAboutThis hollow diameter is 9 inches and 6 inches high and Is made from a oak burl.
