Crafts CouncilDirectoryJonathan FieldThe Pebble Edge English Walnut Dining Table with Chapel LegsAboutThe Pebble Edge refers to the tabletop edge that takes its inspiration from the perfect skimming stone found on a beach, a stone that has been smoothed and made tactile by natural forces. The two pieces of English walnut used for the top are joined along the live edge that runs the length of the table. The tabletop stands on the new leg design called the Chapel Legs which have a curved architectural form. For a bespoke sized version using the dark grained walnut used for this table please ask me for details. This walnut also has a considerable amount of ripple, which when sanded and oiled, catches the light as it changes throughout the day.Jonathan FieldLondon, EnglandThe Pebble Edge English Walnut Dining Table with Chapel Legs, Photo: James ChampionSize 335 cm x 122 cm x 75 cm H Consecutive Making Number 302, initialled and numbered on the underside. The Pebble Edge English Walnut Dining Table with Chapel Legs, Photo: James ChampionSize 335 cm x 122 cm x 75 cm H Consecutive Making Number 302, initialled and numbered on the underside. The Pebble Edge English Walnut Dining Table with Chapel Legs, Photo: James ChampionSize 335 cm x 122 cm x 75 cm H Consecutive Making Number 302, initialled and numbered on the underside. The Pebble Edge English Walnut Dining Table with Chapel LegsAboutThe Pebble Edge refers to the tabletop edge that takes its inspiration from the perfect skimming stone found on a beach, a stone that has been smoothed and made tactile by natural forces.
