I live and work in West Yorkshire on the edge of the Pennines, a landscape which is a contrast of colour and texture. Working with the surface of the clay, slips and glaze, I paint, print, score and mark make to build richness and depth. This painterly approach is contained within the framework of flat wall pieces or thrown cylindrical forms. Recently I have developed my designs to include a range of transfer printed porcelain jewellery with images taken from my larger work.
