Morandi bottles
I was inspired to make a range of bottles after looking at the still life paintings of Giorgio Morandi. He painted groups of bottles, bowls and jugs in various compositions and under different lighting conditions. I chose three glaze colours: grey, black and mustard and made a range of different bottle shapes. They were sold through the National Trust shops and exhibited in the Dialogues exhibition at Sarah Wiseman Gallery in 2017.
