Carolyn Tripp Ceramics Ceramic Artist London, England
My ceramics tell stories from my life. I tear and rearrange my painted words and images creating abstract decoration and so obscuring the autobiographical content resulting a surface that holds your gaze.
I throw in porcelain, creating individual pieces. Inspired by the bottle shape and with a nod towards the Asian ceramic tradition that I always find myself drawn towards in my second home - the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Each piece stands alone but I love to see them collected together.
Carolyn's marathon pottery challenge 26 April 2020
I am going to throw 26 pots on 26th April for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation because I want to raise money for a fabulous charity.
