Collect 2021 with Design-Nation

Michelle will be showing her ‘Plan’ series of textile artworks at this years Collect: the International Art Fair for Contemporary Craft and Design presented by the Crafts Council. This is a happy return to Collect for Michelle, who previously showed her artworks at Collect in 2012 with CAA. Michelle will be part of this exciting Design Nation showcase ‘Exceptional Craft for Exceptional Times’ along with nineteen other specially selected members from the membership.
Dulwich Festival Artists' Open House 2022
14th –15th and 21st – 22nd May
Michelle will be one of 400 artists taking part in this highlight of the South London cultural calendar and now in its 29th year. Michelle will be showing a selection of her colourful hand-printed textile artworks, alongside her prints on paper and new paper and textile collages. She has invited the furniture maker and designer Mandie Beuzeval and the artist/designer Snowden Flood to join her. After two years as a virtual event, this years festival has taken the themes of Regeneration and Awakening. Wish You Were Here – Art Refuge 2021
1st – 4th December 2021
Michelle has been invited to create a postcard sized artwork for the exhibition Wish You Were Here for Art Refuge at Yorkton Workshops in Hackney, London. The exhibition and raffle will help fund their work with refugees in Northern France and the UK. Artists taking part include – Grayson Perry, Eileen Cooper, Aida Silvestri, Rana Begum, Julian Opie, Gillian Vaux, Jeremy Deller, Richard Deacon, David Tremlett, Majid Adin and Jane McAdam Freud amongst others.
Glass and Textiles exhibition at CAA
30th May – 24th June
As part of their 75th anniversary celebrations this year, Contemporary Applied Arts are having a series of curated exhibitions at the gallery in Marylebone, promoting their members' work. This months exhibition is Glass and Textiles, and the gallery is bursting with inspiring work, with a stunning selection of beautiful glass and colourful textiles. On show are some of Michelle's hand-printed textile artworks from her 'Plan' series, and two new bold abstract prints on paper called 'Jostle' and 'Nudge'. The gallery is hosting a late night shopping event on 22nd June until 8pm and a Meet the Maker event on Saturday 24th June, where you can view the work and chat to the makers in the exhibition.
Dulwich festival Artists' Open House 2023
13th – 14th and 20th –21st May
Michelle will be taking part and exhibiting her work for her 12th year in this popular South London arts festival. She will be showing some new large abstract prints and a selection of her colourful textile artworks and unique collages. Celebrating its 30th year, the Dulwich Festival has over 1000 participants this year from the Artists' Open House and comedy events to literature, music and urban art street walks. Michelle will be joined by furniture maker and designer Beuzeval Furniture and the artist and designer Snowden Flood. Opening times 11am – 6pm each day.
Focus 21 as part of London Design Festival
19th – 24th September 2021
Michelle will be exhibiting her textile artworks with Contemporary Applied arts for Focus 21at the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour and as part of the London Design Festival.
Craftworks
15th – 17th May 2024
Michelle is delighted to be exhibiting her new framed textile artworks with Design Nation at the Jay Blades Craftworks exhibition this May. Craftworks is a free show hosting the very best of arts, crafts and design from all corners of the craft sector, gathering traditional and contemporary makers in the wonderful setting of Shoreditch Town Hall. As well as discovering one of a kind pieces, there will also be a program of live seminars and workshops as well as panel sessions with experts from the craft sector. This show is perfect for interior designers, collectors and retail or hospitality buyers looking to discover one of a kind pieces, and to commission something new.
A Splash of Colour

Michelle has been invited as a guest exhibitor to show her colourful textile artworks for the annual winter exhibition, with The Makers Guild Wales at Craft in the Bay.
