Abstract North Sea Waves
Inspired by walks along the coast on Tynemouth Longsands and Whitley Bay (in all seasons and weathers), this collection brings together my love of mood enhancing colour and the calming effect of the ebb and flow of the North Sea.
After observing the waves and creating a multitude of line drawings, I selected my favourites and layered them over each other. Each layout was then produced in different colour palettes to suggest each of the four seasons.
Each print is created using 4 blocks.
