Description
SALTAIRE MAKERS FAIR takes place over the three-day Saltaire Arts Trail weekend (Sat 24 – Mon 26 May) in the stunning Victoria Hall.
This highly respected craft market showcases high-quality, innovative work across three rooms by contemporary craft designer-makers working in a wide range of handmade disciplines, including ceramics, textiles, jewellery, glass, metal, artists’ books, paper, leather, wood, furniture, plastics, fashion textiles and accessories, original printmaking and mixed media.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 5 January 2025
Saltaire Inspired is committed to inclusion and diversity and particularly encourages applications from artists whose backgrounds and experiences are underrepresented in the visual arts, contemporary craft and design sectors.
Saltaire is a location of national and international significance, architecturally and artistically. As well as supporting creativity in Saltaire and its surrounding area, we aim to bring the best of visual art and craft to the World Heritage site, as an inspiration to local practitioners and audiences.
Submissions to the Saltaire Makers Fair are considered by an independent panel of artists and industry professionals, and we strive to bring new work to our events each year.
