Cotton: labour, land and body
That most ubiquitous of fibres, cotton, takes centre stage in the latest Crafts Council Gallery exhibition. Works by Raisa Kabir, Brigid McLeer, Bharti Parmar and Reetu Sattar explore the history and impact of cotton production, focusing specifically on the relationship between Britain and South Asia. Nourish
Basket weavers, sculptors and artists gather together for Nourish, an exhibition at Farnham’s Crafts Study Centre that aims to highlight the beauty and versatility of willow. Visitors will see the ancient medium interpreted through the work of 16 different makers, including Anna Liebmann, Dominic Parrette and Sarah Le Breton.

Hallyu! The Korean Wave
Making a splash at London’s V&A this month is Hallyu! The Korean Wave, a major exhibition which examines how, in the words of curator Rosalie Kim, South Korea became a 'leading cultural powerhouse.' Some 200 objects from the spheres of fashion, cinema, beauty, music and more will be on display. They includes the striking Peony dress from Korean designer Miss Sohee, to props from TV hits like Squid Game.
