Interwoven: Jewellery Meets Textiles is a Goldsmiths’ Centre exhibition exploring the creative connections between contemporary jewellery and textiles.
This free exhibition invites you to discover the innovative ways jewellers are engaging with textile techniques, materials, and aesthetics. Featuring works from over 30 acclaimed jewellers - such as Flora Bhattachary, Eleanor Bolton, Elizabeth Bone, Caroline Broadhead, Megan Brown, Susan Cross, Alison Evans, Nora Fok, Ruth Leslie, and Jacqueline Mina - the exhibition presents an array of remarkable jewellery pieces.
These items, on loan from the makers, the Goldsmiths’ Company collection, and the Crafts Council collection, are displayed alongside diverse textiles to examine their structural and visual connections. Visitors will gain insight into the rich and evolving dialogue between these two art forms, experiencing a stunning convergence of craft disciplines. This exhibition offers inspiration for craftspeople, art enthusiasts, and anyone intrigued by the fusion of jewellery and textiles.
