We've organised special opening of Hoswick Visitor Centre for people still in Shetland on Sunday 6 October, the day after Shetland Wool Week ends.
FREE, unticketed Sunday 6 October 10am - 2.30pm Café open (teas, coffees, cakes only) Bring your knitting (makkin), crochet or spinning and relax with a cup of tea and a piece of cake. A lovely way to round off Wool Week! Niela Nell Kalra, founder and designer at Nielanell, and Elizabeth Johnston (tutor and organiser of Hoswick classes) plan to be there too. Everyone is welcome to join us.
The Nielanell studio and Karlin Anderson Jewellery will also both be open 10am - 4pm.
LOCATION: Hoswick is situated between Lerwick and Sumburgh airport (20 mins drive from each) so the Visitor Centre is a useful stopping off point! PUBLIC TRANSPORT Buses to Hoswick are on the Lerwick-Sumburgh route, with the nearest stops in Sandwick, our neighbouring village, which is very close by (7mins walk / 1 min drive!).
If you'd like to be picked up from the bus stop, please get in touch: info@nielanell.com
