In this workshop you will learn how to use slabs of clay to form a 3D castle structure, which you will embellish with finer details such as decorative windows, brickwork texture, doorways, roofing and other whimsical additions.
Who is this class suitable for?
Suitable for ages 16+
We will spend some time learning how to attach sections of clay and give illusions of solid brick structures within. By the end of the workshop you will have 3D slab-built form strong enough to free stand without being fired in a kiln. As a final touch, we will talk through various options for decoration. During this online workshop you will follow along with the tutor for the main construction of the castle. When it comes to adding details and finishing touches, you can have fun exploring different tools for mark making and adding texture with the tutors support.
