Come along to the Crafts Council Gallery for a series of fun and hands-on activities for LGBTQIA+ families.
Get creative and celebrate Pride Month with us on Saturday 4 June from 10-11.30 am. Multi-disciplinary artist Jacob V Joyce (they/them) invites you to share your dreams of what a queer world could look like in this free hands-on workshop at the Crafts Council Gallery. Map a path to a queer future through poetry and image-making before you step inside Jacob's anti-colonial space cruiser!
Each event in our Pride Month programme - curated by queer artist Daniel Fountain - has been designed with LGBTQIA+ identifying families in mind. We use this term broadly to indicate any form of family structure involving LGBTQIA+ individuals, including chosen families (such as friends and allies).
