Wondering where to start or how to transition into a career of furniture making? If you're wishing to join the profession or looking for a training opportunity in the creative community, join this talk.
Led by a panel of experts, topics will include furniture designing and making skills, apprenticeships and alternative routes to industry. Discussions will be chaired by Carol Sinclair (Applied Arts Scotland), alongside panellists Kathryn Willens (CCSkills), Tom Fraser (Chippendale International School of Furniture) and Jack Sheahan (Sheahan Made). There will also be time for a Q&A from the audience.
