Come along to this month’s Young Craft Citizens Monthly Meetup to enjoy a guided tour of the Crafts Council’s new exhibition, We Gather.
The Crafts Council's Young Craft Citizens network is a collective of 16-30 year olds interested in shaping the future of craft, design and making in the UK. Members meet at monthly get-togethers to get creative, gain experience and make their voices heard in the arts sector. All backgrounds and experience levels are welcome!
This friendly and informal tour will take place at the Crafts Council Gallery and is hosted by We Gather curators, Rosie and Griffi. You will have opportunity to ask questions and get up close to the works of five female artists of Black and Brown heritage. Rosie and Griffi will also feed into a discussion about the Young Craft Citizens next Monthly Meet-up in December – a workshop with We Gather artist, Shaheen Ahmed.
Not forgetting, complimentary pizza for everyone in attendance!
Please note the event will be documented and shared on the Crafts Council social media.
