After a long career in design and making I found myself in 2020 - like everyone else - in lockdown. When I first started I made everything myself, later I realised that I could get more done by making design prototypes for production by retailers and manufacturers.
Lockdown changed this; projects evaporated overnight. My re-think solution was to go back to basics and so I swapped my design studio for a woodwork shop and began making pieces by hand again.
