We Are Commoners, Craftspace
Working during the UK's Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020-21, Rachael produced works that were commissioned by Craftspace for their national touring exhibition 'We Are Commoners'.
She used waste elder wood sawdust, combining it with food waste and a range of other organic waste materials to create wearables.
Rachael also created 'instructables' using food waste and organic yarn, a range of food waste wearables that could easily be made from home by enthusiastic makers of all ages and abilities!
