HORIZONS
StudioLoganHowes have created a collection of mobiles which explore, with purposeful minimalism, a human relationship with the environment.
These hung sculptures are made using the off cuts of wood from the production of par-avion.co's 'pi collection'.

LEEWARD, Photo: Charlotte GrayOne of our larger mobiles. There is an intriguing counter balance in this mobile, which gives tension to the weight, detail and focus from one end of the horizon to the next.
LEEWARD (detail), Photo: Charlotte GrayA single spalted sycamore figure stands poised at the end of a long horizon. A windbreak line of trees sits within the circle of brass hoop.
RISE, Photo: Charlotte GrayWith a definite incline, this off cut in oak makes for a fun relationship between the figure waiting and the figure pressing hard up the hill.
HILL (detail), Photo: Charlotte GrayTwo figures carved from sustainably sourced bog oak off cuts, poised at one end of their arced horizon as if looking out at a down hill view.
HOUSE, Photo: Charlotte GrayHouse and inhabitants. At opposite ends of this counter balanced mobile stand two inward looking figures carved from oak. The house is brown oak.
