Founded by Peter Layton in 1976, London Glassblowing is one of the most successful hot-glass studios in Europe. Its gallery’s mission is to present the very best of British contemporary glass art to a wider audience by showcasing the most exciting and emerging talents alongside more established internationally renowned glass artists. Situated a few minutes from the Shard, in vibrant Bermondsey Street with its many outstanding restaurants and galleries, a visit to London Glassblowing is a delightful and rewarding experience - not only for its brilliant displays of exceptional glass art but also for its rare opportunity to see some of the UK’s leading contemporary glassmakers working their molten magic at the furnace.
