Porcelain Tiles - Fireplace surround
These clients were plagued by a fireplace that looked like a mausoleum – Black with dark unattractive tiles in the fireplace surround. They wanted something light and airy to lift this sitting room.
I made these tiles to fit in the fireplace surround. They were placed on top of the original tiles. I wanted the overall effect of the tiles to give the impression of a summer meadow.
The fireplace was painted by Geoff Osler and he created the faux marble effect around the main body.
